ON PRODUCTIVITY
Le Penseur, the famous sculpture by Auguste Rodin.
Crouched in the posture of The Thinker
I try to squeeze me out a clinker
With little reason to exult:
So much work, so small result.
Thus it is with knowledge, too:
We strive to see the world anew
But our dark lens obscures the view
So much effort, so much poo.
