ELI

Elias Krodman, z''l (1925-2014)
Eli, 1925-2014. Barukh dayan emet.

He’s gone now.

There is no person who has been a bigger part of my life. In addition to supplying half of my DNA - including at least 75% of my sense of humor - he has shared this planet with me for over sixty-one years. Longer than anyone else.

Alas, he is with us no more... but I shall always be Eli’s son.

Commiserations Steve. He must've been a lovely man and father having seen your pictures with him. R.I.P. Eli.

I am very sorry for your loss.

Words from a stranger are of little comfort, I know. I will pray for the Creator to ease your pain.

Steven - I am so sorry about the circumstances, but I am very glad that I got the chance to see you and your brother today - and to meet the wonderful young women of your family (I am similarly blessed with my wife and daughter) - Please know how much I loved your mom and dad - so many great memories of our families being together. Your dad was an amazing man who always made a slightly strange child feel very welcome and valued. Much love... (oh - like your blog a lot)
